SUCCESS, TOGETHER

Have you ever signed a contract or lease agreement for a loan?

We all know that contracts and agreements with providers of equipment or services contain pages of small print, carefully crafted in legalese. In many cases, this text is genuinely in place to protect the provider and in many cases, to protect the end user too.

MISSION-DRIVEN

Our goal is to bring fairness to financial contracts for businesses.

Your Fair Finance is here to try to help you. You can publish you experiences here and we will contact the provider to inform them of your grievances. They may very well be legally entitled to apply something you disagree with or renew your contract without notice or perhaps in the small print, it says you need to give them six months notice, before the end of the contract, otherwise it will automatically renew for another year.

However, if the company have not tried to manipulate you purposely, they may look upon your complaint and resolve it in a manner which is satisfactory to you.

You may still have to pay a fee to break out of a contract, but it needs to be fair. In our view, you should not have to give six months, notice to stop your contract automatically renewing.

Of course, we should read the small print in minute detail. However, many businesses are so busy that they will not read the many pages of small print, but rely on the word of the nice salesperson, and sign a contract. In addition, not every business, especially small businesses, have legal representatives to go through the contract legalese with a fine tooth comb.

How we will achieve our goals

1

Fairness for Businesses

We want to campaign for fairness for businesses and as part of this, we will create a check list which can be given to any provider who wishes to participate, within which, they will be asked fundamental questions about their term and conditions.

2

Financial Service

We want to make it easy for businesses, who have a need for a financial service, to be able to have the confidence that the company they have chosen, will provide them with a just and fair contract, which protects both themselves and you, the customer in a fair manner.

3

Finanial Impact on Businesses

We will publish the names of the companies who have taken the trouble to provide a clear and concise contract overview. We believe, there should be clarity with every contract, so that you are aware of the salient points which may have a financial impact on your business. We will also identify those providers who we feel have elements in their small print, which could be damaging to your business.

What it will mean for you

With decades of proven experience, our team is prepared to help you achieve your goals, and beyond.

We want to create an environment of clarity and trust between the provider and customer. We want every financial contract, whether it is a lease, borrowing, or any other financial commitment between any provider and their customer, to have a “front page”, which answers fundamental questions regarding the content of the contract or agreement.
